Great show Eben! You come across like an apostle. I learnt so much and I will reread Acts. I hope to hear more of you and your teachings. You know your wife probably has a great story to tell too.
Thank You

Hi Eban. I really enjoyed your conversation with Marcus Grodi on EWTN. You are an interesting speaker. I am hoping that the Church finds a way to use your talents to help educate others about the Catholic Church. Your story is very inspirational.

Hello Eben.

I watched your interview with Marcus on Monday night. I was glued to your story. I am a convert from the Baptist Church and The Salvation Army so could identify with some of your talk and your life.

Had you thought of seeking the Permanent Deaconate in your diocese? It seems you have so much knowledge of scripture and a great knowledge of the Church not to be using it for the people of God.

Thanks for speaking to everyone through Journey Home and God Bless you.

Fr. I have considered it. I don't know how long we will be here in Lubbock. I do want to be used and want to speak-teach as often as possible. I solicit your prayers for wisdom in how the Lord wants us to move forward with someway to get back into full time work.
Thanks for stopping by. Check out The Practical Catholic on iTunes or ebenemerson.podbean.com also.

Thanks again to everyone for your encouragement!

Welcome Home Eben I will be praying that a place will be found for a man of your talents within the church. After seeing you on The Journey Home I listened to one of your podcast and you don't give yourself enough credit. May God Bless you.

Eben, I don't believe in coincidences, so I guess it was fate that I saw you on EWTN today as I was getting ready for work. I generally don't watch religious programming, but for whatever reason I began to listen to your story. What impressed me the most was your willingness to change your life in order to align yourself with your beliefs. That's a lesson many of us (myself included) need to learn. You have a gift for connecting with people in a spiritual way without being threatening. I think you should actively pursue this avenue in some way. Good luck to you in your future endeavors.

Eric,
I appreciate what you had to say. I try to follow what the Lord wants from me. I haven't always been very good at it though.
I do pray to be in full time ministry soon. I am praying for open doors and opportunities.
Thanks again!
Eben

I watched your interview with interest. I am presently in the Church of Christ and while not a regular preacher have done some preaching and graduated from one of the CoC's Bible colleges. I was most impressed with the fact that you studied yourself out of the CoC and into the Catholic Church, or at least that is the way it seemed from your interview. I, too, am struggling with what to do as I no longer hold to many of the CoC's teachings (especially those about the exclusivity of the CoC). There are many things that seem right about the Catholic Church but I am still reading/studying. I am really torn about what to do. Thanks for sharing your story. May God bless you in your walk with Him.

Allyn,
Thanks for stopping by and sharing what is going on in your life. It is never easy to question things that we have always believed and start to search but the reward is indescribable. I trust that if you will seek and pray that the Lord will lead you where He wants you to be.

Thanks for stopping by,
Eben

Eben, Your story is so inspirational. I marvel at you and all the other clergy that have not just changed religious affiliation, but also had to give up being a pastor and changing their whole lives. God is truly calling people to help us cradle Catholics to embrace the joy and beauty of our faith and thus fortify the Church. Thank you!!
